Danby Pipe Renovation

The Danby Pipe Renovation System™ is used to reinstate or reinforce an existing damaged pipe. The system consists of a layered composite of PVC liner, cementious grout, and the original pipe. This combination creates a highly integrated structure with the PVC liner bonded to the original pipe through the grout. Using the Danby system, pipe diameter loss is minimal, corrosion resistance is increased, flexibility of the pipe structure is increased, and of course, the pipe is restored.

		A study conducted by the Utah State University, in which a pipe section lined with the Danby liner and an unlined section were compared, concluded that the Danby lined pipe not only increased the overall strength of the pipe, but also withstood a deflection of 19%. The unlined pipe in this test collapsed.
